1. Cleaning charcoal stoves: removing grease and food residues

After using the charcoal stove, grease and food residues will adhere to the surface of the stove body. Long-term accumulation may affect the heating efficiency and even cause a fire. It is recommended to clean it according to the following steps after each use:

1. Cooling post-processing: Wait for the stove body temperature to drop below 40°C (about 30-60 minutes) to avoid burns or metal deformation caused by alternating hot and cold.

2. Cleaning of removable parts: The grill, grease tray, etc. can be soaked in a neutral detergent for 10 minutes, and stubborn stains can be removed with a soft brush. The National Barbecue Association (NBBQ) of the United States pointed out that hard steel wool will scratch the coating and reduce the rust resistance.

3. Cleaning the furnace: The inner wall of the furnace can be sprayed with baking soda solution (ratio 1:10), and wiped after standing for 5 minutes, which can effectively decompose grease.

2. Rust prevention and coating maintenance

Charcoal stoves are prone to rust when exposed to a humid environment for a long time, and special protection is required:

1. Dry storage: wipe off the moisture after use and place it in a ventilated place. If it is not used for a long time, it is recommended to put on a rain cover.

2. Regular oiling: Apply edible grade mineral oil (high temperature resistance of more than 200℃) to the grill and metal joints every quarter to form a protective film.

3. Paint repair: If the paint surface is found to be peeling, first use sandpaper to polish the rust, and then spray high temperature paint (temperature resistance needs to be ≥500℃) to avoid the spread of rust.

III. Inspection and replacement of key components

1. Gas furnace inspection: Check whether the gas pipe is aging and cracking every month, and apply soapy water to the interface to detect air leakage (bubbles are leaks).

2. Ignition device maintenance: The electrode spacing should be kept at 3-5mm (refer to "Safety Standard for Household Gas Charcoal Furnaces" GB/T 30597-2014). Too far will cause ignition failure.

3. Replacement cycle: It is recommended to replace the grill every 2 years. If deformation or coating peeling occurs, it should be stopped immediately.
