1. Operators must understand the following points:
A. The structure and performance of the electric furnace and its auxiliary equipment.
B. The layout of the power distribution system, control system and the location of safety devices, etc.
C. Operating process and safety operating procedures.
2. Preparatory work inspection before operation
A. Whether the power supply of the equipment is normal, whether there is a phase failure, short circuit or bare wire, etc.
B. Check whether the contact at the grounding device connection is good.
C. Check whether the heating element is damaged, whether the contact of each connection is good, and whether there is any contact with the furnace body and cover.
D. Check whether the temperature control system has any abnormal phenomenon.
E. Check whether the furnace door lifting and the trolley in and out are normal.
3. Workpieces with corrosive, volatile and explosive gases are strictly prohibited from entering the furnace body for processing, so as not to affect the service life of the heating elements and refractory materials and cause accidents such as explosions.
4. The electric furnace shall not be operated at an over-temperature, otherwise it will shorten the service life of the equipment.
5. The workpieces should be stacked evenly and should be about 100-150mm away from the heating element.
6. Workpieces with too much oxide skin need to be removed before entering the furnace, and can be brushed off with a wire brush.
7. Brutal operation is strictly prohibited, and workpieces should be placed gently to avoid impact.
8. Operators must not leave their posts without authorization when using the electric furnace, and must always pay attention to whether the working condition of the electric furnace is normal.
9. When loading and unloading workpieces, the power supply of the heating element must be cut off first to ensure the safety of the operator.
10. The oxides in the furnace (including under the electric furnace wire) should be cleaned frequently, at least once a week or once every five furnaces. Compressed air can be used to blow under the furnace bottom plate.
11. After use, the resistance wire must not be collided or bent to avoid breakage.
12. The electric furnace motor needs to be checked regularly, lubricating oil should be added, etc., and attention should be paid to safety.
13. Regularly check the use of the heating element. The heating element should not be bent or collided after short-term use. If it has not been severely corroded and broken, the same material as the electric furnace wire (or the electric furnace wire itself) can be used as a welding rod, and acetylene gas is used for heating and welding. The welding rod is made of 50% white cloud powder. If the heating element is severely corroded and cannot be used, it should be replaced.
14. Regularly check the deviation of the instrument and thermocouple to prevent incorrect temperature measurement due to errors in the instrument and thermocouple from affecting product quality.
